Get Involved
There's a way to help that fits your time, skills, or organization.
Three ways to get involved: give, show up, or partner with us. All three matter equally.
Give
Donate money or supplies
Financial gifts — one-time, monthly, or in-kind — fund every program on this site. See the full breakdown of giving options, including in-kind donation needs, on our dedicated Donate page.
Most needed right now
Non-perishable food, hygiene items, diapers & baby supplies, and gift cards to local grocery stores.
Ways to volunteer
- Pack and hand out groceries on distribution day
- Assist with Narcan kit assembly and distribution
- Help teach or assist in senior AI-safety classes (Spanish speakers especially welcome)
- Translate materials or provide in-person interpretation
- Administrative and grant-writing support
Show up
Volunteer with us
Two hours helps. Whether it's a single Saturday or a standing weekly shift, we'll match you with a task that fits your time and skills.
Email us at info@hopeoutreachcenter.org with your name, general availability, and what you'd like to help with — we'll follow up with next steps and our current schedule.

Churches, organizations & businesses
Some of our biggest impact comes through partnerships: a church that hosts a distribution day, a business that donates supplies on a recurring basis, or a community organization that co-hosts a class or event. If your church, nonprofit, or business wants to partner with Hope Outreach Center — in Oakland or as we grow into Brentwood — we want to hear from you.
- Host a food distribution or Narcan training at your location
- Co-sponsor or fund a specific program
- Provide in-kind donations on a recurring schedule
- Introduce us to your Brentwood or East County network
