01 · Harm Reduction
Naloxone & overdose-prevention distribution
The opioid overdose crisis reaches every community, including ours. We distribute free Naloxone (Narcan) kits, teach neighbors how to recognize and respond to an overdose, and connect people to further support — no cost, no appointment, no judgment.

- Referrals to treatment and recovery resources for those who want them
In progress Hope Outreach Center is pursuing state-recognized distributor status through the California Naloxone Distribution Project, which supplies Narcan at no cost to qualifying community organizations.
02 · Food Access
Food pantry & distribution
Every family that walks in leaves with groceries — no ID requirement, no proof-of-income form. Our food pantry is stocked through community donations and partnerships with regional food banks, and our weekend distribution day is the anchor of our weekly schedule.

03 · Family Support
Young mothers program
Young mothers in Fruitvale often navigate parenthood without a nearby support network. Hope Outreach Center provides a space to connect with other parents, access baby and family essentials, and get referrals to housing, childcare, and health resources.

04 · Community Education
AI literacy & scam-safety classes for seniors
Our elders are the most frequent targets of phone and AI-voice scams — and often the least prepared to use the very tools that could help them stay connected to family. We're building hands-on, Spanish-language classes that teach seniors how to use everyday AI tools safely, and how to recognize the scams that target them.
- Taught in Spanish, for a majority-Latino senior community
- Hands-on practice, not just a lecture — real phones, real apps
- Focused equally on safety (spotting scam calls) and capability (staying connected to family)
